Equipped with automatic temperature controls and a digital readout, the ProFire TL-400 allows the operator to select and monitor the desired operating temperature. The furnace utilizes a heavy-wall #400 clay-graphite crucible with an integrated pouring spout. An insulating firebrick lining helps maximize heat retention during operation, while its rugged construction is designed for long service life in professional and industrial environments.

Hydraulic Tilting & Controlled Pouring

The ProFire TL-400 is specifically designed to handle the challenges associated with pouring exceptionally large quantities of molten metal. A hydraulic lift system is included as standard equipment, providing controlled furnace movement during the pouring process.

The tilting configuration allows molten metal to be poured directly from the crucible without requiring manual removal of the large, heavy crucible. A backing winch provides additional control for precise and safe movement during pouring.

A vented lid provides convenient access to the crucible and securely latches in the raised position during loading and operation.
